Summer Temporary Positions in Social Psychiatry and Addiction

We are now looking for summer temporary workers for Alléns boende, the housing support, and the support housing Runristaren who can work at least four consecutive weeks during the summer period, weeks 24-33, and preferably extra as on-call staff already this spring.

About the operation:

As a temporary worker, you will be employed by the HR unit for competence supply and salary. We need temporary workers who can work both on short notice and with longer planning.

The housing support offers assistance for the target group within social psychiatry and operates during the day, Monday to Friday.

Alléns boende is a residence with special services according to SoL within social psychiatry. The operation is aimed at adults with mental illness and/or neuropsychiatric functional variations.

The support housing Runristaren is a support housing for individuals with social psychiatric and/or addiction issues. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the municipality's open care, where we offer psychosocial treatment and addiction treatment.

Job Responsibilities:

As an on-call worker, you have an important and meaningful job where you make a difference and impact people's everyday lives every day. The tasks vary depending on the area of operation, but the common goal is always to focus on the customer's best interests.

Housing support is primarily about motivation and support. As a housing supporter, you visit our clients and coach them in a pedagogical and motivating way to plan and structure their everyday lives. We coach our clients in everyday tasks, planning purchases, various types of errands, contacting authorities and healthcare providers, and accompanying them to scheduled meetings if needed. The housing support works with the ESL method, promoting independent living. The work is based on the individual's needs and within the framework of the individual assignment.

At Alléns boende, you work independently with clients but in close collaboration with the coordinator and other team members. Your main tasks consist of client-facing work in the form of individually tailored support such as social support, structure, ADL, medication management, and some nursing care. The primary work takes place in the clients' apartments, but you will also support clients in visits and errands outside the home. The residence is staffed around the clock with sleeping duty at night. As an on-call worker, you may be offered shifts both during the day and at night.

At Runristaren, your main tasks consist of client-facing work in the form of individually tailored support such as social support, structure, planning, and ADL. The primary workplace is at the residence, but you will also support clients in visits and meetings outside the residence, e.g., at healthcare facilities, authority contacts, etc. You will also be involved in managing daily household chores and other common tasks in a residence. The residence has around-the-clock staffing with sleeping duty at night. As an on-call worker, you may be offered shifts both during the day and at night. At Runristaren, you work independently on-site at the residence.

What is common to all units is that the work is very varied and stimulating and requires the ability to work flexibly and independently.

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, able to speak, read, write, and understand instructions in Swedish.
• B driver's license
• Experience from previous work in similar operations or with similar target groups
• Meritorious with or ongoing education in care and nursing, social work, psychology, or pedagogy
• Meritorious experience from work within the disability field and preferably mental health.
• Meritorious knowledge of psychiatric/neuropsychiatric functional variations, as well as addiction issues
• Meritorious if you have relevant education in the field, as well as training in low-affect approaches, ESL, and MI
