The area of operation (VO) includes surgery, orthopedics, ENT, intensive and perioperative care in Ystad, consisting of outpatient services as well as surgical and urology departments and planned surgeries in Ystad.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in the Stoma Clinic, you will work with patients who have undergone surgery and received a stoma. You will work independently in outpatient care with follow-up visits after surgery, support conversations, and telephone advice. You will also be part of our surgery and urology clinic where patients come for, among other things, wound dressings. You will provide care and advice to patients and their relatives.

In the Surgery and Urology Clinic, you will work as a nurse providing advice, wound dressing, and negative pressure treatment. Here, you may also meet patients after surgeries where seroma drainage is needed. You will have close collaboration with contact nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants at the clinic.

You will have an advisory role but also your own clinic where you receive patients who need specialist care assistance.

Our clinic is open Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Previous experience in outpatient services and knowledge of Melior and PASIS are advantageous for the position.

We seek someone who always provides a good reception, has a high service attitude, and good social skills. You take your own initiatives for improvements that develop the work in the unit and have a desire to grow in your professional role and area. Furthermore, you have a holistic view with a good ability to prioritize and collaborate. Personal suitability is of great importance.
