Capio Lundby Specialist Hospital is located at Wieselgrensplatsen, less than 10 minutes by public transport from central Gothenburg. Through a comprehensive care agreement with the Västra Götaland region, we provide specialist healthcare in dialysis/kidney medicine, surgery, medicine, psychiatry, ophthalmology, ENT, and an operating unit for day surgery.

The psychiatric clinic is an outpatient clinic where our most common diagnoses are anxiety, depression, and neuropsychiatry (assessment and treatment). We have a strong patient focus and offer our patients very good continuity and high availability.

We work in well-composed teams with different professional categories to ensure that our patients receive the best care chain. The unit employs experienced psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, licensed psychotherapists (CBT), psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

We work in two main processes: general psychiatry and neuropsychiatry.

Currently, there are two psychiatric nurses working at the clinic, and we are looking to expand to three.

In the psychiatric unit, you will have your own clinic where you will conduct follow-ups and adjustments of medication, support conversations, structured initial assessments (including MINI), screenings for in-depth assessments, sample collections, patient education, etc. You will also be responsible for advice via phone and digital platforms.

As a psychiatric nurse, you are an important part of the teamwork surrounding the patients and therefore participate in treatment conferences and collaborate with other healthcare providers.

We are looking for a specialist-trained psychiatric nurse with experience working with patients with psychiatric diagnoses. It is important that you have a desire to develop in your profession and a strong interest in working with patients in psychiatry.

As a person, you are positive, engaged, and interested in driving care for our psychiatric patients forward. You have a pedagogical approach and a holistic view with the patient's needs in focus.

You should have good collaboration skills, be solution-oriented, and appreciate working in a team. Since you will be part of a close-knit team around the patients, we place great importance on personal qualities.
