About the Position

At Engo, we are looking for a service technician who wants to help maintain and repair our electric ice machines, products used in ice rinks across the Nordic region. You will be based in Värmland or Mälardalen, but the job involves a lot of travel, especially during our peak season from March to summer. It is a free and mobile job where you plan much of your own time. One day you might be working on a machine in an ice rink in Stockholm, the next day you could be in Skåne installing parts.

With us, you will get a great start; you will shadow our technicians to learn the job in practice, where you will get to try things yourself and learn along the way. You will also attend a basic training course at our factory in Italy, and we actually go there every year, so it’s both a chance for professional development and a nice perk. In this role, you will take a lot of responsibility, but you will always have support from the team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ice machines
• Installation and assembly of hockey boards
• Planning your own service weeks and trips
• Customer contact and ongoing follow-up
• Inventory management, spare parts ordering, and documentation

You will work both independently and with colleagues, often with overnight stays during the week.

About You

You may have previously worked as a vehicle mechanic, so you have a good understanding of the basics of electricity and hydraulics. You can read simple electrical diagrams and are not afraid to tackle problems. It is important that you enjoy working with machines and have an interest in technology; this is a job where you will work with your hands.

A driver's license with at least a B category is required. A higher category is an advantage.
