The Department of Public Outdoor Environment is responsible for the public spaces you experience in Karlstad municipality.

We work with streets, parks, outdoor property maintenance, and public land to create a safe and attractive public environment where people have good conditions for a high quality of life.

The position of playground technician is located within the property management outdoor environment, which is responsible for the external maintenance of the municipality's own properties, including associated playgrounds. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other units and departments within the technical and property management.

Responsibilities

As a playground technician with us, you will work in a team with a unit manager, coordinator, work leader, and operational staff where we support each other.

The role of playground technician involves great variation, and the tasks include addressing reported issues and inspection remarks, as well as planning and ordering work from external suppliers.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with work experience as a playground technician or other education/experience that the employer deems relevant. You can work independently and have the ability to plan and prioritize. You enjoy collaborating with others and are a problem solver with a holistic view. As a playground technician, you will have administrative tasks that require computer skills. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
