We are looking for nursing assistants for several positions at Bäckagården.

Bäckagården is located in the northern part of Vetlanda, right next to Sjukhusparken. Here, we have three short-term units and two units for special housing. We are looking for nursing assistants for a permanent position in special housing and three for the short-term units – two permanent positions and one temporary position.

In the short-term unit, you meet clients who stay with us temporarily, giving you the chance to meet many different people with unique needs and life stories. In the special housing, you have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with the clients and actively contribute to their well-being and quality of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant, you will work with everything related to our elderly in their daily lives. Your most important task is to ensure that each person’s need for care and nursing is met, both socially, culturally, and physically. A job where your efforts make a difference for others.

Our working method is based on always starting from the client's needs and together finding solutions that work. Every day offers new meetings and varied tasks. You will have the chance to use and develop your skills in different areas of care, while also learning new things.

To create a smooth and well-functioning operation, we have several support functions in place. The caretaker handles practical issues and maintenance, while our service staff is responsible for tasks such as cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, and support during meals. This allows you as a nursing assistant to focus on care and nursing.

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has experience in care. If you also have experience in palliative care or short-term care, that is a big plus. Even more important, however, is your willingness to develop and learn more – this is something we truly value.

With us, you will have a flexible job with both personal responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues. We work with individual and operationally adapted schedules and value the thoughts and ideas from our staff – for us, it is important that you are involved in influencing your workplace.

• The permanent positions are 80 percent with varying working hours, day, evening, and weekend.
• The temporary position involves weekend work and is at 100 percent with 27 hours as a full-time measure. The temporary position starts as soon as possible and lasts until April 30, 2025, with a possible extension.
