About Us

Närhälsan Backa rehab clinic is a respected institution with ten physiotherapists, three occupational therapists, a rehab assistant, and administrative staff.

The rehab clinic is located near Selma Lagerlöfs Square in Hisings Backa. We treat all kinds of injuries on an outpatient basis and run various group activities. We also collaborate with a nearby health center where we have a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist stationed one day a week.

About the Job

Your tasks will include assessing and treating patients of all ages with various functional and activity abilities. Common conditions among patients you will encounter as a physiotherapist include: issues and injuries from the entire musculoskeletal system, pain, neurology, sports and exercise injuries, as well as mental health issues. The job also involves prescribing assistive devices. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan will be developed.

The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Some work can be performed remotely. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups.

The job involves close collaboration with other professionals, both at your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager for the development of the operations in an ongoing improvement process.

About You

You are a licensed physiotherapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome new graduates. If you have supervisor training and/or further education in women's health, that is also an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is ready to take on the challenge of working independently, organizing and planning your work effectively based on set goals. You can handle an uneven workload and unforeseen events. In your work, you will meet many different people, so it is important that you are attentive, communicative, and can identify the individual's unique needs to develop a joint treatment plan. For you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work.

Other Information

The position is a temporary contract starting immediately and lasting for one year.

Travel may be required as part of the job.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a phone interview. Then, the recruiting manager will make a second selection of applicants and invite them for an interview at the clinic.

It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
