About Us

Närhälsan Backa rehabilitation clinic is a respected institution with ten physiotherapists, three occupational therapists, one rehabilitation assistant, and administrative staff.

The rehabilitation clinic is located near Selma Lagerlöfs torg in Hisings Backa. We treat all kinds of injuries on an outpatient basis and run various group activities. We also collaborate with a nearby health center where we have a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist stationed one day a week.

About the Job

Your tasks include assessing and treating patients of all ages with various functional and activity abilities. Common conditions among patients you will encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, stress issues, and mental health problems. The job also involves prescribing aids and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is developed.

The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups.

The job involves close collaboration with other professionals, both at your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager for the development of the operations in a continuously ongoing improvement process.

About You

You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome new graduates. If you have supervisor training, that is a plus.

We are looking for someone who is willing to take on the challenge of working independently, organizing, and planning your work effectively based on set goals. You can handle an uneven workload and unforeseen events. In your work, you will meet many different people, so it is important that you are attentive, communicative, and can identify the individual's unique needs to develop a joint treatment plan. For you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work.

The position is a temporary contract starting immediately and lasting for one year.

Travel in the job may occur.

About the Recruitment Process
