Physiotherapist/Sports Physiotherapist for LSS/SoL Health

The Social Administration in the City of Stockholm has an overarching and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care and the area of disabilities. Here, good conditions are created to meet residents in need of social services support. In close collaboration with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, legally secure, equal, and knowledge-based social service, and we have a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support measures are offered to the city's residents, and the offerings change based on the needs of Stockholmers and the wishes of the district administrations. The work often takes place in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and the business sector. The Social Administration is also responsible for the city's serving and tobacco permits and conducts supervision.
Workplace Description
LSS/SoL Health is a municipal primary care unit tasked with providing health care to individuals living in LSS or social psychiatric housing and/or who are engaged in daily activities within the City of Stockholm.
At our unit, in addition to physiotherapists/sports physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists, and nursing assistants work. Our office is located at Medborgarplatsen, but the daily work takes place at the patient's home. We travel using public transport for work.
We are now looking for a physiotherapist/sports physiotherapist who will be responsible for several operations located in the inner city and northern suburbs.
Working hours are during the day, weekdays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Job Description
You will be part of a team together with an occupational therapist and a nurse, sharing responsibility for the patients in your area.
The physiotherapist's work consists of:
- Physical activity
- Assessment of health status and actions from a physiotherapeutic perspective.
- Prescription of medical technical aids.
- Health prevention
- Guidance/training of care staff
- Collaboration with regional operations such as habilitation, psychiatry, and primary care.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience as a physiotherapist/sports physiotherapist. Experience with LSS target group and psychiatry is advantageous. You have a strong interest in people and are engaged in finding various creative solutions. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team, and you take personal responsibility for planning, developing, and driving your patient work forward in a structured manner.
