Ophthalmic Nurse at the Eye Clinic

The Eye Clinic has approximately 35 employees in various professions, of which 10 are ophthalmic nurses.

The operations are primarily focused on medical eye care in outpatient settings with on-call and consultation services during the day. The emphasis of the care is on major public health issues such as age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic changes in the retina, as well as intravitreal injection treatments.

Job Description

You will be offered a varied job, which can be in a team or independently. Your tasks may include:

preparing patients for medical visits
assisting with intravitreal injections
own consultations
visual field examinations
OCT examinations
photo screening
telephone advice

Competence Requirements

Ophthalmic nurse and/or licensed nurse
Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1
