Summer Temporary Position for Physiotherapist at Stockholms Sjukhem

Stockholms Sjukhem offers inpatient specialized rehabilitation (neurological and surgical) in Kungsholmen, as well as rehabilitation for patients with spinal cord injuries. This summer, we are looking for physiotherapists. Care is provided in multiprofessional teams, where we work closely with both the patient and their relatives. Through collaboration, we develop ambitious, qualitative, and sustainable rehabilitation efforts with the individual in focus.

We are centrally located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.

About the Role of Physiotherapist

The tasks consist of the usual responsibilities of a physiotherapist on a ward and mainly include:

Assessment and mapping of activity and mobility abilities as well as follow-up.
Training both individually and in groups.
Testing and prescribing assistive devices.
If necessary, the physiotherapist and occupational therapist make home visits together as part of the discharge planning.

We work in a team-based manner, and in addition to contact with other physiotherapists, you have support from your other colleagues in the team such as occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, speech therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We use the TakeCare journal system.

The position is full-time during the summer period from June to August, with working hours from 08:00 to 16:30. We apply individual salary setting.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist, perhaps you are newly graduated and want a secure and educational start to your career? Your personal qualities are important to us. You appreciate variety, switching between a team-oriented and individual working style. The position requires that you master the Swedish language fluently in speech and writing and have good computer skills.
