Stockholms Sjukhem offers inpatient specialized rehabilitation (neurological and surgical/general) in Kungsholmen, as well as rehabilitation for spinal cord injured patients. We are now looking for a substitute for our neurorehab department as one of our physiotherapists will be on parental leave.

We work in teams where we collaborate with both patients and their relatives. Through cooperation, we develop ambitious, qualitative, and sustainable rehabilitation efforts with the individual in focus.

We are centrally located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.

Your role as a physiotherapist

As a physiotherapist with us, you will have a varied job in a stimulating environment where you meet patients with various neurological diagnoses as well as spinal cord injured patients since we are part of the care chain for spinal cord patients both within Region Stockholm and nationally.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Assessment and mapping of activity and mobility abilities as well as follow-up.
• Training both individually and in groups.
• Testing and prescribing aids.
• If necessary, physiotherapists and occupational therapists make home visits together as part of the discharge planning.

We work in a team-based manner, and in addition to contact with other physiotherapists, you will also receive support from other colleagues in the team such as occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, speech therapists, rehabilitation assistants, psychologists, discharge coordinators, doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. Your tasks also include supervising students. We use the TakeCare journal system.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and weekend work is included in the employment. We apply individual salary setting.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist, preferably with experience in both neurological rehabilitation and spinal cord injury rehabilitation.

Your personal qualities are important to us. We want you to be communicative, maintain a high level of service, and be unpretentious in your approach to the world. You contribute with your competence, experience, and commitment to the improvement and development work of the organization. The position requires that you master the Swedish language fluently in both speech and writing and have good computer skills.

Scope: Full-time

Employment form: Substitute for 1 year, possible extension. Flex agreement is available.
