We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer who wants to lead the quality work in modern, cross-functional teams. In this role, you combine technical expertise with strategic responsibility – you lead the quality work from start to finish and ensure that testability, automation, and quality are an integral part of the development cycle. As a Quality Engineer at Sopra Steria, you are a key person in creating robust digital solutions together with our clients. You design test strategies, build test automation from scratch, create structures for traceability and testability, and coach teams in quality-driven approaches. You work closely with developers, product owners, and the business – always with the user and the business in focus.

Our clients have high demands for quality, which means you get to use your entire technical toolbox alongside colleagues who value what you do. You will work in contexts where quality is not something added at the end – but something we build in from the beginning.

We believe you have:

• At least 5 years of experience as a QA consultant, Quality Engineer, or similar
• Good programming skills, e.g., in Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Experience with modern testing and automation tools, e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
• The ability to develop test strategies and coach others on quality in agile teams
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing

It is a plus if you also have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes
• Worked with container technology such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Test lead experience or worked with overarching quality strategies
