We are expanding and are now looking for an auction broker based in the district around Motala and Vadstena. Read more about the role below. 

More about the role

The role of an auction broker involves selling our service by establishing and developing partnerships within your sales district. We primarily target companies, but the size of the companies and types of industries can vary greatly.

One of the best parts of the role is the variety and freedom. Below we provide examples of the tasks included in the role. You work independently but are part of a team with active support from our various roles at Blinto. Together we succeed!

  • You will be traveling daily within your district with both scheduled and spontaneous customer visits.
  • When you receive an assignment, you will create the object documentation, where you clearly describe the item through text, photos, and video.
  • During the auction, both you as the broker and the team in the office work to ensure our sellers and bidders have the best experience possible.
  • If an auction does not reach the set reserve price, it is your task to negotiate a deal that satisfies all parties involved. This is done through negotiations between the seller and the highest bidder.

In summary, you will follow your customers through the entire auction process, from start to finish.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has previously worked in some form of sales where you are accustomed to reaching out to customers via phone, spontaneous visits, and through an existing network. You need to have a B driver's license and be fluent in both spoken and written Swedish. You also need to have good knowledge of English as we have many foreign buyers. It is a plus if you have an existing network in the automotive, trucking, or construction industries.
