Working towards sustainability goals has become an increasingly important part for many companies in our society and being able to continue to reuse functional equipment. Online auctions have become the obvious choice for companies when selling/disposing of machines/equipment that are no longer used in their operations for various reasons. The market is expected to have good growth in the coming years!

With a turnover of over 1 billion SEK in gross revenue per year, Blinto is one of the largest online auction operators in the Swedish market and collaborates with thousands of companies across the country. We currently have about 50 brokers and we are now in need of expanding our brokerage team with more employees!

(Our brokers come from backgrounds such as machine sales, car/truck sales, sales representatives & field sales, machine operators, ...)

More about the role

The role of the auction broker involves selling our service by establishing and developing partnerships with companies within your sales district. We primarily target businesses, but the size of the companies and types of industries can vary greatly.

One of the best parts of the role is the variety and freedom. Below we provide examples of the tasks included in the role. You work independently but are part of a team with active support from our various roles at Blinto. Together we succeed!

• You will be traveling daily within your district with both scheduled and spontaneous customer visits.
• When you receive an assignment, you will create the object documentation, where you clearly describe the object through text, photos, and videos.
• During the auction, both you as a broker and the team at the office work to ensure that our sellers and bidders have the best possible experience.
• If an auction does not reach the set reserve price, it is your task to negotiate between the seller and the highest bidder to reach a deal that satisfies all parties.

In summary, you will follow your customers through the entire auction process, from start to finish.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has previously worked in some form of sales where you are used to processing customers via phone, spontaneous visits, and through an existing network. You need to have a B driver's license and speak and write Swedish fluently. You also need to have good knowledge of English as we have many foreign buyers. It is an advantage if you have an existing network within the automotive, transport, or construction industry.
