About us

Aleris has ten eye clinics from Umeå in the north to Malmö in the south. We maintain a recognized high medical quality and have very satisfied patients. Our experienced staff conducts approximately 60,000 outpatient visits and 20,000 cataract surgeries per year. We diagnose and treat several different eye diseases. At some clinics, we perform outpatient surgeries, injections in the vitreous body, have orthoptic services, and specialize in dry eyes.

Our clinic is centrally located in Helsingborg. We work on behalf of Region Skåne but also welcome private and insurance patients. With over 6,000 outpatient visits and about 2,500 cataract surgeries per year, we are an important player in eye care in the region.

Our technical equipment is of the highest standard, and you will work side by side with experienced eye specialists and dedicated colleagues. Here, the work environment is safe, modern, and collegial.

The Role

As an optometrist at Aleris, you will have a varied and stimulating workday with significant personal responsibility. You will:

• Conduct visual field tests, OCT, and other preparations for doctor visits
• Have your own clinic and assessments
• Work closely with surgeons, doctors, ophthalmic nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries in a well-functioning team

About You

• You are a licensed optometrist with a few years of experience
• You are meticulous, flexible, and passionate about high-quality patient care
• Preferred: experience in refractive surgery, working in the Melior journal system, and confidence in an independent optometrist role
• Above all, you are a team player with positive energy and good communication skills

Employment Conditions

Employment type: Permanent position, starting with a 6-month probationary period
Scope: Full-time or part-time
Start date: By agreement
Salary: Individual salary setting
