We are looking for someone who wants to work with modern development environments and create solutions that facilitate for other developers. At Knightec Group, you will work at the forefront of technology on assignments ranging from embedded systems to data platforms and cloud services.

You may have worked with embedded development but have developed an increased interest in CI/CD, DevOps, or data infrastructure over time. Alternatively, you may have a background in system development focused on improving workflows and processes.

Responsibilities

You will be part of Software & Cloud in Gothenburg – a department within Knightec Group with approximately 170 skilled colleagues. You will work either in-house at our offices or at the client's site – assignments vary depending on your background and interests. In this role, you will work on creating and improving pipelines, development environments, and tools.

Examples of tasks:

• Design, build, and improve CI/CD environments
• Develop data platforms and pipelines (ETL, analysis, storage)
• Automate testing, building, and releasing
• Work with cloud services and infrastructure as code
• Contribute to creating sustainable and scalable development flows

Qualifications

We believe you are curious, enjoy collaborating, and want to work in a context where technology and societal benefit meet. We also believe you have:

• A Master's degree in e.g. computer science, IT, electronics, or similar
• Several years of experience in software development and CI/CD work
• Familiarity with one or more of the following: Git, Jenkins, Bazel, Gerrit, Python, C, or C++
• Experience with cloud technology (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Good knowledge of English – Swedish is a strong merit
• Driving license B

It is meritorious if you also have

• Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
• Worked with visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with test automation and real-time analysis
• Interest in AI support in development environments
• Experience with security-classified projects

Some of our assignments are subject to defense secrecy, and depending on the assignment, you may need to have Swedish citizenship and undergo and be approved in a security review. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Practical information This is a full-time position based at our office in Gothenburg, Lindholmsallén 2. Travel for work may occur to our clients. The start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.
