Svenska Spel is now undergoing a transformation towards a decentralized working method inspired by Data Mesh, where data is viewed as a product. We want our data products to be well described, consumer-friendly, and developed decentralized in the various teams where data arises throughout our IT landscape.

We are now looking for a Data Engineer who wants to help shape and execute this transition with us. Could it be you?

What will you do?

A number of data products are now available in Svenska Spel's Data Lake, searchable and documented in a data catalog. The work to create data products is now taking off in earnest. Here we need help.

As a Data Engineer, you will be crucial in this transformation. You will have close contact with data producers and advocate for the consumer perspective, you will highlight the value of data and be an ambassador for our transition.

You will transform our Data Warehouse to utilize better source data, with clear contracts and ownership. To streamline and simplify. You will work on introducing product thinking even in our delivery from the Data Warehouse. So that we also live as we preach. Offering data consumers a richer variety of data makes us more data-driven and innovative, and thus stronger. Not least so that our customers can have a joyful and safe gaming experience with us.

As a person, you are forward-leaning and enjoy working in an organization and with technology that is in constant change. You are more than happy to take on new challenging tasks and drive the work forward together with your colleagues with a twinkle in your eye.

To succeed, we see that you have experience in the following:

• Cloud infrastructure
• Programming in Python
• DevOps
• ETL work

It is an extra merit if you also have experience in:

• Productization of data according to Data Mesh or similar Data Management strategy
• BigQuery
• SQL
• Terraform
• Dataform
