Are you an Infrastructure Technician with strong expertise in Linux server operations and a keen eye for stable, secure, and future-proof IT solutions? Then we have the role for you! Our client in Stockholm is now looking for an experienced and driven technician to join their Operations & Delivery team.

You will play a central role in developing, maintaining, and securing the infrastructure that supports both administrative and production-related systems. The work takes place in a dynamic environment with both Linux and Windows servers, where you are expected to take the lead in technology choices, improvement initiatives, and implementations.

• Operation, maintenance, and optimization of Linux and Windows servers in a local (on-prem) environment.
• Linux: installation and configuration of distributions, networking, user management, firewalls, and application services. You ensure that logging, monitoring, backup, and redundancy work seamlessly, and you like to automate tasks via scripts. Kubernetes is a plus.
• Windows: responsible for server installation, integration into AD environment, and configuration of common roles such as file server, WSUS, RDS, etc. You manage GPOs, permissions, security settings, and documented change management.
• Administration of virtual environments in VMware and Nutanix, including lifecycle management.
• Automation using Bash or PowerShell.
• IT security work focusing on firewalls, patching, and permission allocation.
• Support in network-related troubleshooting (LAN/WLAN – primarily Cisco), incident management, and 2nd line support.
• Participation in infrastructure projects focusing on new systems, modernization, and efficiency improvements.

• Several years of experience in Linux server operations in a production environment (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, and security settings.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Nutanix) and networking.
• Proficiency in scripting and automating tasks.
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Certifications in Linux, Microsoft, VMware, or Cisco.
• Experience from regulated environments, such as the pharmaceutical industry or production operations.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
