Our client is facing a strategic initiative where they need to define how their organization will relate to upcoming regulations and changes related to access to financial data (FiDA). The work is central to clarifying scope, opportunities, and risks, as well as developing a plan that enables meeting future requirements in the Open Finance area – both from a regulatory and business strategic perspective. Therefore, we are looking for a senior project manager who can drive this work forward, facilitate decision-making processes, and ensure that a clear vision and concrete action plan are developed. 

The project manager will be responsible for driving and coordinating work within the following areas:

• Develop a long-term strategy for the organization’s positioning within Open Finance, in line with overall market ambitions and goals until 2033. This includes ensuring that the developed vision is well anchored within the entire collaboration/federation.

• Identify and navigate potential conflicts of interest between central and local perspectives related to FiDA. The project manager should propose how FiDA can be implemented in a way that enables effective and shared data management and processes – while safeguarding the independence of individual companies and delivering a smooth and cohesive customer experience.

• Ensure that the organization meets regulatory requirements related to FiDA through close collaboration with legal and compliance functions. Identify relevant risks and propose solutions, as well as clarify responsibility distribution and roles within the federation. The solution should be designed with sufficient flexibility to adapt to future regulatory changes and related initiatives.

• Together with the Data & AI function, map and evaluate how FiDA affects data management and information flows. The work includes analyzing development needs to ensure that current and future data architecture is adapted to FiDA's requirements and opportunities – including identifying needs for new technical solutions, system support, or integrations.

• Based on the overall vision, identify and prioritize concrete use cases where FiDA can contribute to creating business value and improving customer experience. This may involve the development of new services and products, strengthened collaboration within a broader ecosystem, improved decision support, or more personalized offerings. Each use case should be described and assessed based on factors such as customer value, business potential, collaboration opportunities, technical and regulatory complexity, and implementation cost.

• Ensure coordination and clear responsibility distribution with other ongoing strategic initiatives and platforms, so that the work is effectively integrated into the overall development work.

• Develop and implement a communication and change plan to build understanding, anchoring, and engagement in the organization regarding changes arising from FiDA.

• Map the competencies required to meet FiDA's requirements and opportunities, and ensure that relevant training initiatives are offered to affected employees.

• Identify and assess risks related to FiDA – including legal, operational, and technical aspects – and design a risk management strategy with concrete measures to reduce risk exposure.

• Lead and coordinate working groups within each sub-area, focusing on driving the work in close collaboration with key functions such as legal, Digital & IT, business units, and regional companies.

• Have a strong customer focus and ensure that solutions are based on and respond to customers' needs and expectations.

• Goal-oriented and pragmatic, with the ability to produce results and handle complex challenges effectively.

• Have good collaboration skills and build strong relationships – promoting cooperation across organizational boundaries.

• Possess relevant technical and legal understanding to navigate FiDA-related requirements and conditions.

• Work in a structured and methodical way, with experience in developing clear plans, following up on deliveries, and ensuring that timelines and budgets are maintained.
