Support Operations Engineer

We are looking for a Support Operations Engineer for the client's Monitoring & Operation Support (ATS MOS) team in Sweden. The team will consist of a total of three people and will work daytime with on-call availability as needed outside regular office hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a curious and analytical problem solver with a solid technical foundation and a strong interest in operational reliability. You thrive in a fast-paced support environment, enjoy tackling complex technical challenges, and have a proactive, customer-focused approach to ensure stable and reliable operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Analyze trends and detect anomalies by improving real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Automate operational tasks to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- Minimize errors caused by manual processes and human interventions.
- Manage and resolve complex incidents escalated from the Customer Success Support team (2nd line), particularly those related to the Intelligent Control System (ICE) and operation of autonomous vehicles off-board.
- Request, manage, implement, and roll out urgent changes when no temporary solution exists for high-priority incidents.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success Support and involve relevant resources (e.g., product developers, suppliers) to resolve technically complex issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on incident status and resolution progress.
- Lead root cause analyses to prevent recurring or critical incidents in the ICE system or in off-board operations.
- Document and share knowledge with on-site teams and Customer Success Support.
- Conduct training to build a deeper understanding of ICE and autonomous vehicle systems off-board.
- Participate in reviews of major incidents and contribute detailed input to incident reports.
- Actively improve incident management processes, with a particular focus on ICE and off-board autonomous vehicle solutions.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in computer science or a related field
- DevOps profile with relevant background, preferably with experience in a technical support environment
- English (fluent), Swedish (meritorious)

Infrastructure & Cloud: Terraform, Terragrunt, IAM, ArgoCD, Karpenter, Crossplane Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, Tempo, Loki, OpenTelemetry Messaging & Data: Apache Kafka, Redis, DynamoDB Languages & Tools: Python, Bash, Go, GitLab Pipelines Network & Security: Cilium
