The adult psychiatry area (VO) in Lund, with about 570 employees, is divided into four areas: general psychiatric inpatient care and emergency reception, general psychiatric outpatient care, addiction/psychosis inpatient and outpatient care PIVA, and resource unit and national highly specialized care in the areas of difficult-to-treat self-harm behavior for children and adults, gender dysphoria, and eating disorder care for adults. VO adult psychiatry Lund is a university healthcare unit, and the operation is characterized by diversity and high competence with proximity to research and education. Here we conduct a wide range of psychiatric activities where the employees within the area collectively possess a large and consolidated competence. We are located in bright and modern premises in Lund. The catchment area is Lund with eight surrounding municipalities.

The adult psychiatry outpatient clinic for addiction is an outpatient clinic whose mission is to diagnose and provide care and treatment to patients with alcohol, drug, and mixed dependencies of such severity that specialist care is required. The clinic has a close collaboration with adult psychiatry department 8 addiction, and there is an established care chain for patients seeking help for their addiction disease.

At the clinic, we work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of specialist doctors, nurses, social workers, resident doctors, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a new nursing colleague who wants to be part of our clinic and together with us create a safe, cohesive workgroup where everyone enjoys coming to work! We are looking for someone with the right skills and experience to work with the unit manager(s) and the team to drive and develop addiction care in VO Lund.

In the core assignment as a nurse, you are responsible for your patients' treatment and care plans together with the chief physician and other professional categories in the team, based on interventions. In addition to pharmacological treatment and related sampling, you work with motivational, preventive, and health-promoting measures. Documentation work is done in Melior, Mina Planer, and appointment scheduling is done in Pasis, and you are expected to plan, prioritize, and document your work independently and carefully. Within the framework of the position, you contribute to the development, implementation, and follow-up of guidelines and working methods within addiction care in VO Lund and addiction care in general within Region Skåne. You are also expected to supervise students and assist and share your knowledge with colleagues in the clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement. It is advantageous if you are a further educated psychiatric nurse and/or have experience from working in psychiatric outpatient care. Furthermore, work experience and knowledge in the area of addiction are considered advantageous.

You have the ability to take others' perspectives and see the benefits of collaboration within the team, in the clinic, and in other parts of addiction care within Region Skåne. Furthermore, you have a quality-conscious approach, and working safely with patients is a given for you. When filling the position, great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
