About the job
Position: Permanent employment for 32 hours a week, probationary period applies.
Start date: 2025-01-27 or by agreement.
Working hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements: High school education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but due to the Work Environment Act, you must be at least 18 years old.
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our wonderful team at Willys Umeå Klockarbäcken! The position simply means that you, together with your colleagues, contribute to offering our customers good and sustainable food at really good prices. You are an important part of the store team that ensures our customers have the best shopping experience. Here’s a bit more about the position:
- Together with your colleagues, you will manage the varied daily operations in the fresh produce department. You can expect to get a lot of steps on your pedometer!
- You will ensure that our refrigerators and shelves are well-stocked and look nice.
- You will ensure that the store is clean and tidy.
- You will actively participate in ordering and sales planning and contribute to the store achieving its sales and profitability goals.
- You will assist our customers and meet them with knowledge, sensitivity, and a big smile.
- You will help our customers at the checkout or at one of our other checkout options.

About you
You love food, people, and sales just as much as we do! For us, it doesn’t matter if you are a vegan or a meat lover, eating tacos on a Friday or a Tuesday. The great thing about you is that you are you. And that’s exactly what we are looking for.
- You want to learn new things and develop.
- You have a positive attitude and want to have fun at work.
- You see when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done.
- You find it easy to collaborate with others – we work together as a team!
- You have good IT and computer skills, are detail-oriented, and have no problem navigating different systems.
- It’s an advantage if you have worked in retail or service, but it’s not a requirement.
- You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more languages than that, so if you do too, that’s great!
