Laboratory medicine in Dalarna consists of clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, and transfusion medicine, where we work across departments. The operations are county-wide with laboratories in Avesta, Borlänge, Falun, Ludvika, and Mora. Clinical microbiology is located in Falun, while clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine are available at all locations.

We are currently seeking summer substitutes for the summer of 2024 in clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine in Mora.

Summer Substitute Biomedical Analyst/Laboratory Assistant at Mora Laboratory

Job Responsibilities

At the clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine department in Mora, the processes include sampling, sample reception, hematology, coagulation, immunochemistry, general chemistry, blood drawing, and blood group serology. As a summer substitute, you will receive training in one or more of these areas. You will perform regular tasks for biomedical analysts. During the summer, there may also be opportunities for observation in other processes to gain a good overview of how the laboratory work functions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst or currently in training. You are also welcome to apply if you have other relevant scientific education or are in training.
