We are now looking for two dentists for our clinic in Malung, where we offer a developing and varied job. We have a good atmosphere and teamwork and are now looking for you who want to join our team and provide good care to our residents while having fun at work.

The clinic has six treatment rooms, and here work the operations manager, clinic coordinator, one dentist, two dental hygienists, and four dental nurses.

Malung is a small, quiet, and safe locality in Västerdalarna with fantastic nature nearby that you can enjoy throughout the year. The locality is best known for the popular Dance Band Week, which takes place here in week 29 every year and attracts people from all over Sweden and neighboring countries. The municipality has a rich association life, so there is a good chance you will find an interest that suits you.

Only 60 km to the north lies one of Sweden's largest ski resorts, Sälenfjällen, where you can enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, eat good food at some of the best restaurants in the country, hike, bike, fish, canoe, and much more. The municipality also has an airport, making it easy to reach several locations in Sweden or down to the continent.

Job Responsibilities

As a general dentist, you will have varied job responsibilities and meet patients of all ages with all types of treatments. With us, you will have an interesting and developing job, teamwork, and the opportunity for a rich leisure time.

All newly hired employees participate in our introduction program.

At Folktandvården Dalarna, newly graduated dentists are offered an introduction program with an individually tailored introduction plan. The plan is developed in collaboration with your home clinic and the supervising clinic Origo and includes clinical time interspersed with supervision and theoretical reviews. After completing the introduction, you will have a solid foundation for developing your clinical and theoretical skills to feel confident in your role as a general dentist.

For experienced dentists, supervision of newly graduated dentists and dental students is part of the job.

Additional Information

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• has a Swedish dental license
• holds a B driver's license
• uses Swedish in speech and writing.

Experience with the T4 data system is an advantage.

We also place great emphasis on personal suitability. We see that you work well with other people and communicate with both colleagues and patients in a responsive and smooth manner.

You believe that care and service are a natural part of the job and that it is obvious to involve the patient in possible treatment options. Furthermore, you are good at organizing and prioritizing work effectively.
