Recruitment of Medical Responsible Rehabilitator (MAR)

The Care Administration consists of three areas: healthcare and special accommodations for the elderly, disability care and elderly care in ordinary housing, and individual and family care. The administration has about 600 employees, including 22 nurses, 9 physiotherapists and occupational therapists, and 22 unit managers responsible for user-centric activities.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for someone with a background as a physiotherapist or occupational therapist, with several years of experience and an interest in ensuring the quality of care. You will work closely with operational managers and the Medical Responsible Nurse (MAS) to ensure high quality and safety in the rehabilitation and habilitation area.

• Develop guidelines, routines, and work methods to ensure that rehabilitation and habilitation are conducted in accordance with the law and of good quality.
• Support the activities in matters related to rehabilitation and habilitation.
• Responsible for annually compiling a quality and patient safety report in collaboration with MAS.
• Support activities to analyze and learn from mistakes, as well as conduct risk analyzes based on patient safety.
• Responsible for analysis of key figures and statistics in the patient safety area.
• Contribute to the development of internal training and competence-enhancing efforts.
• Participate in internal and external networks.

The position is full-time and is divided as MAR 50%, with the remaining time devoted to other quality and development work within the administration.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist or occupational therapist with experience in municipal rehabilitation and habilitation. Further education in the field and experience in quality and development work are advantageous.

To thrive in the role of MAR, it is important that you can work independently and in a structured manner, are confident in your professional role, and have good communication skills. You should also have good knowledge of English (spoken and written) and computer skills.
