Min Barnmorska Södertälje is looking for midwives who want to support pregnant, birthing, and new families with extra needs for security and continuity.

The target group for this care model is pregnant women with socioeconomic vulnerability (Care Need Index), primarily those born abroad, as well as pregnant women with fear of childbirth.

My midwife at Södertälje Hospital:

As a midwife at Min Barnmorska Södertälje, you will have the opportunity to grow in your competence, both in maternal health care and in delivery and postnatal care through a comprehensive training program. The onboarding process is tailored to your experiences and needs. Regular supervision is included.

BB Södertälje is Stockholm's smallest maternity clinic where outpatient care, delivery, and postnatal care are a cohesive unit with each birthing person's unique resources and needs in focus. This creates a calm and secure environment for the family and a good working environment.

The maternal care is located at Södertälje centrum BMM. Delivery and postnatal care take place at BB Södertälje.

Your qualifications:

Licensed midwife with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare with at least 2 years of experience in the profession. Work experience in both maternal health care, delivery, and postnatal care is meritorious. We welcome applicants with multicultural experience. A driver's license (B) is required.

Employment form:

Permanent employment. Working hours are scheduled at BMM and at the hospital during weekdays, as well as on-call duty at home during weekends. The position includes shift work. Recruitment for this position is ongoing during the application period.
