We are looking for a proactive and service-oriented shift leader for SSP Kulturens Hus.

About the position

You will work in the daily operations of our various departments, but you will be the one leading and distributing tasks during the shift. You ensure that the work is carried out according to agreed contracts and standards. Your tasks will also include some staffing, onboarding of new employees, short-term schedule changes, ordering of goods, potential personnel issues, and other common tasks within the restaurant.

Your profile:

As a shift leader, you should be very flexible and a role model for the team you lead. You are cheerful, meticulous, have a great sense of humor, and a sales-oriented approach. You can work both independently and in a team. You enjoy leading and motivating others, and you are a role model for both colleagues and managers, and you dare to be a leader. You thrive in a restaurant environment and enjoy providing service to our guests.

To succeed in this role, you are used to working in a changing pace and have a focus on service and sales. You are someone who takes initiative and personal responsibility for your tasks. You have good collaboration skills, and communicating with both guests, colleagues, and managers is no problem for you. Furthermore, order and tidiness are a given for you. The work is physically demanding, and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

We place great importance on your personal qualities, such as your leadership and how you communicate.

Requirements

You have at least 1 year of documented work experience in a leadership role. You speak and read good Swedish fluently.

You must be at least 20 years old as we serve alcohol, and you may be responsible for serving (according to the Alcohol Act 2010:1622 Chapter 8. Serving of alcoholic beverages and alcohol-like products 18 § Personnel).

In your application, you must state your citizenship and be able to present a passport that proves your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.

Additional info

You will work shifts with work rotation. It is an advantage if you have access to a car, as it can sometimes be difficult to reach the workplace by public transport.

Our opening hours follow the needs of the sales units, which means varying working hours with early mornings, days, evenings, and weekends (Opening hours approx. 07-00.30).
