Sugoi is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine. The company was established in 2011 and has experienced constant growth since its inception. Sugoi currently has 7 restaurants in the following locations: Väla shopping center, Kullavägen in Helsingborg, Drottninggatan in Helsingborg, Fabriksgatan in Lund, Nobelvägen in Malmö, Viktoriagatan in Landskrona, Centralgatan in Höganäs, and Järnvägsgatan in Helsingborg, as well as our sister restaurant Anette’s at Väla.

Sugoi takes pride in providing our guests with delicious Japanese food and sushi made with environmentally certified fish at an affordable price. Cleanliness, efficiency, service, and food at a good price with minimal climate impact is our motto.

We are now looking for a restaurant assistant to work at our restaurant in Malmö.

The job responsibilities include: Taking food orders over the phone and online, packing takeout, assisting guests, serving, washing dishes, cleaning, and general restaurant tasks.

If you have a driver's license, you will also be responsible for delivering orders to customers.

Working hours are Friday to Sunday every other week from 16:15 to 20:15, with immediate employment.

As a person, you should be cheerful, meticulous, quick to learn, and have a genuine interest in food and quality.

Qualifications:

- It is an advantage if you have worked with cash registers or in restaurants before, either in the kitchen, serving, or bar.

- Experience working with sushi or Japanese food is a merit but not a requirement.

- You are a team player.

- Speak Swedish or English.

- Quick learner.

- Clean and knowledgeable about hygienic food handling.

- Able to juggle multiple tasks and handle stress.

- Service-oriented and professional.

- Take pride in your role and show initiative. Job tasks include cash handling, serving, simple cooking, and other kitchen-related tasks. It is important that you can work cleanly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
