We are a grocery store in Täby Centrum with a focus on fresh produce. Well-stocked manual meat, deli, cheese, and fish counters with carefully selected ingredients characterize our store. We also have a wide range of other products. Additionally, we have our own chefs who cook food, bakers who bake bread, and pastry chefs who make cakes, all on-site in our lovely store.

We are about 170 happy employees in the store.

Unique to our bakery is that we sell cakes/pastries directly over the counter to customers so they don't need to enter the store. We also sell packaged cakes/pastries from our own bakery in the store, but the majority of the products are sold directly over the counter.

We are 20 employees in the department, bakers, pastry chefs, and sales assistants.

We make our own sourdough and bake buns and bread in a stone oven.

We bake everything from scratch and maintain the highest quality in our products.

We work as a team for a fun and pleasant work environment, and it is important that everyone can pitch in where needed and that everyone is part of the whole.

About the Position

As a pastry chef in our bakery, you will be an important part of the team that ensures our customers are met with an inspiring and well-stocked department. Your main tasks include:

-Production of cakes and pastries

-Decoration of cakes and pastries, including specially decorated cakes

-Daily operation of the department with a focus on quality, order, and cleanliness.

-Working at a fast pace to keep the department on top.

Who are we looking for?

-An experienced and educated pastry chef

-Has at least 2 years of work experience in bakery/pastry

-A creative person with an eye for detail

-Is happy and service-oriented

-Is driven and responsible

It is a merit and a big plus if you are also educated and experienced as a baker

Immediate access or by agreement

The position is a full-time position of 38.25h

We apply a probationary period of 6 months.

The working hours are during the day and every other weekend is included in the position.
