Description
Motel L in Lund is now looking for a night receptionist to join our lovely team. Together, we work to ensure the overall guest experience. Common to all positions is the individual's ability to deliver world-class service. We place great emphasis on personality and your passion for personal, team, and industry development. Responsibilities
You ensure that our guests at the reception are always well taken care of and attended to in the best possible way. You are the face of the hotel and are well versed in our brand and safety regulations. You are the spider in the web that ensures the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to details. Ensure that the guest's requests are met. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution up your sleeve. You can handle most situations and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied guest. Your workplace is our lobby. Because that's where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security work, and sales work. Working at the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing them with the information they need for their stay. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus. Every morning, you set up our fantastic breakfast buffet and hand over to the breakfast team. Our lobby bar is located directly adjacent to the reception where we serve simple dishes and drinks. You report to our Front Office Manager.
Qualifications
You have several years of experience in the hotel industry and the hospitality sector. With your warm and caring personality, you enjoy chatting with everyone and contributing to making the day better in small ways. As a natural motivator, you love inspiring the people around you. You see the big picture in the small details, have a sense of detail, and can make quick decisions when needed. Understanding that sales = service and that we achieve set goals together. You are independent and flexible, enjoying working at a changing pace. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently, additional language skills are a big plus. We also see that you have good computer skills and experience with hotel PMS/POS.
Conditions
The working hours are between 22:15-07:15 and you work seven nights in a row, then have seven nights off before starting the next shift with seven nights. The position is at 87.5%
