The Adult Psychiatry Clinic LARO in Kristianstad has a mission that includes a comprehensive medical commitment to patients with long-term opioid dependence. Here, we work with medical treatment, counseling, coordination and planning of care and treatment, psychological testing and investigation, as well as basic somatic care related to abuse, harmful use, and addiction issues. LARO (medication-assisted rehabilitation for opioid dependence) aims to prevent relapse, improve social function, and reduce medical complications, transmission of infections, and mortality. The treatment is individually tailored and provided based on the patient's needs and with respect for the patient's autonomy and integrity.

The Adult Psychiatry Clinic LARO is part of Vårdval Skåne and operates according to accredited conditions and the guidelines of the National Board of Health and Welfare. The National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines for LARO treatment changed in 2016 from opiate dependence to opioid dependence, which means that the treatment is also available to individuals with long-term pain issues. Those working at the clinic include psychiatric nurses, general nurses, caregivers, counselor, psychologist, medical secretary, and specialist doctors in psychiatry/addiction.

The Adult Psychiatry Area in Kristianstad has about 400 employees, and despite a large geographical area, it is characterized by proximity and short decision-making paths. Internal cooperation and collaboration within the operational area, as well as externally with other healthcare providers, municipalities, and user organizations, are well-functioning and prioritized.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a new nursing colleague who wants to develop together with us! Here, you will have the opportunity to work in a competent team with extensive experience.

As a nurse, you are part of the team, and together with specialist doctors, you are responsible for the care and treatment of your patients. In addition to pharmacological treatment, we work with motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and group treatments according to the patients' needs. We collaborate with several different actors in psychiatric and somatic care and see collaboration with Social Services, the Prison and Probation Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and the Employment Service as a prerequisite for meeting the patients' needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement.

It is advantageous if you have experience in addiction care, an interest in working with our target group, and/or experience in collaborating with other actors. We also view it positively if you have specialist training in psychiatry and/or level-1 competence in CBT, as well as good knowledge of Melior and the Microsoft Office package.

As a person, you are humble, helpful, and always put the patient first. You are confident in your professional role, accustomed to working independently in a care manager role, and see opportunities instead of setbacks. With a good ethical approach, a willingness to participate in improvement work, and good collaboration skills, you contribute to an open and joyful work environment.
