IT Architect with Infrastructure Focus

Digitalization and IT meet the entire city, we drive and support digitalization where the operations are, which can range from schools and care to property and streets. We are expected to assist in everything from launching new operations and locations, to developing existing services and transforming them into new services. As a product owner, you become part of the IT unit with 25 friendly colleagues centrally located in Solna center when we are not out in the operations. Together with our outsourcing partners, we have established a flexible and stable IT base for the city's continued digitalization.

Job Description

As an IT architect, you work strategically, tactically, and partly operationally together with service owners in the City. Together, you are responsible for ensuring that the operations are updated with functions and solutions in line with the city's strategy. Your job will be to drive innovative development in the area of networks and, in close collaboration with the operations, colleagues, and suppliers, prioritize what needs to be done.

You have a broad role covering several areas, such as:

• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy.
• Ensure the development and management of selected services within the network.
• Ensure that Solna Municipality adopts the right technology for the needs of the operations.
• Ensure support and operation of the services.
• Requirement gathering and coordination of requirements with the operations.
• Lead and participate in forums with colleagues, operations, and suppliers.
• Monitor the environment and news for the collaboration platform and services to suggest development areas.

Who Are We Looking For?

You have

• relevant university education or equivalent experience deemed equivalent
• worked as a product owner or architect in networks
• experience in driving development projects/change projects in networks
• experience in setting requirements and conveying technical issues to IT suppliers while easily communicating with the operations
• you enjoy working at the intersection of IT and operations
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of IT and operations. You have a good ability to structure and drive your own work and document and follow up according to plans that you have been involved in developing. In your work, you relate to the whole and the city's overall target architecture as well as policies and guidelines.

As a person, you are accommodating, cooperative, and a good listener. Structure and keeping your promises come naturally to you, and you strive to create order and continuous improvements.
