What you can expect from the position

As Deputy Store Manager, you are the extended arm of the store manager. You are responsible for the store's employees and have the overall responsibility for the daily operations. You coach and lead the employees through your presence in the store, ensuring that all customers receive optimal service and leave Biltema with a positive experience. Through engaging and inspiring leadership, you develop Department Managers and other employees. You follow up on sales and come up with creative ideas to showcase our wide range of products.

You are well-versed in the store's operations and have the ultimate responsibility for the store when the store manager is not present. This includes, among other things, having the ultimate responsibility for the work environment and, together with other employees, ensuring a safe work environment. You are involved in planning and schedule activities and events. You are happy to share your expertise and act as a sounding board for both the store manager and other employees.

As Deputy Store Manager, you are part of the store's management team and report to the store manager.

What we expect from you

We are looking for someone who is results-oriented and has a high service orientation. As a person, you have the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire employees through your pedagogical way of communicating and leading. You find it easy to create a good atmosphere and always ensure that your employees are ready to perform at their best. By seeing the entire sales cycle from planning and product reception to marketing and sales, you always make sure to be solution-oriented and creative in the situations that may arise.

We expect you to have at least 2-3 years of experience in similar positions in the retail sector. This means that you feel confident in your leadership and are comfortable with the agreements and regulations that apply to the retail industry.
