Substitute Nursing Assistant at Avesta Hospital

Job Duties

Department 1:

We are a geriatric rehabilitation department focusing on stroke, TIA, brain injuries, orthopedics, fractures, prosthetics, and patients in need of medical investigation, care, and treatment. We work in teams around the patient where each profession is crucial for the patient's recovery.

Department 3:

We are an acute internal medicine ward treating patients with a wide range of medical conditions such as heart attacks, heart failure, COPD, diabetes, and various infections. We have 18 beds with the possibility of telemetry monitoring.

Emergency Department:

We have a small 24/7 emergency department, where our mission is to provide acute care for patients, primarily with internal medicine and general medical symptoms. During evenings and weekends, the emergency department also has an on-call reception that handles patients with acute primary care needs. An acute care ward with 6 beds is located adjacent to the emergency department and is staffed by the department's employees.

You, together with the team, are responsible for ensuring good care with the patient and their relatives at the center. We are convinced that you, as an employee, are our greatest asset. Qualifications

Requirements:

• Graduation from the Health and Social Care program or equivalent relevant education.
• You are fluent in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• You have previous work experience from acute, internal medicine, and/or geriatric inpatient care.

You are expected to collaborate, have a good attitude, and be attentive. You should be able to handle varying workloads and a changing pace. Being structured, driven, and flexible is also advantageous. Personal suitability is highly valued.
