Job Ad: IT Infrastructure Technicians at Saab

Job Responsibilities

The team you will be part of will manage an important IT infrastructure platform for one of our client's business areas, crucial for the management and development of technical services. A significant focus will be on ensuring system availability, which requires high standards of security, stability, and precision.

As a person, you are expected to be organized and accustomed to taking responsibility. You are someone who acts and is meticulous in your commitments, striving to do excellent work together with your team. Your team will play a central role in delivering and supporting IT services. It is of utmost importance to carry out and document work according to established routines and processes.

Currently, we are looking for:

• Infrastructure Technicians in Windows with at least 9 years of experience
• Infrastructure Technicians in Windows with 4-8 years of experience
• Infrastructure Technicians in Windows with 1-3 years of experience
• Infrastructure Technicians in Linux with 4-8 years of experience

Together, you will be responsible for maintaining an IT infrastructure with common tasks. This includes delivering client and server-based services and being part of the operations and support team. You will also handle patching and upgrading the client and server environment, develop scripts, and use automation tools to streamline workflows. Additionally, you will participate in the development of services related to the infrastructure platform and ensure compliance with security requirements. Actively participating in improvement work on technical solutions will also be part of your job.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Requirements, team-based:

• Experience in managing Windows server environments and VDI platforms
• Several years of experience in Linux focusing on server operations
• Solid experience working with Redhat and CentOS
• Previous experience setting up new development environments with the above technologies
• A genuine interest in technology and staying updated with the latest industry developments

Preferred:

• Scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl
• Knowledge in IT and information security
• Network layers such as TCP/IP, switching, routing, and firewall in a data center environment
• Monitoring tools like Nagios/op5
• Technologies like Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, PostgreSQL, Grafana, VMware
• Configuration management with tools like Ansible or Puppet
• Horizon
• SCCM
• Microsoft's standard products such as Active Directory, DNS, and WDS

The assignment is subject to defense secrecy, requiring work on-site five days a week. Security clearance interviews and background checks will be conducted. Swedish citizenship is a requirement.
