The Staffing Unit's mission is to replace regular staff who are absent and cover when extra personnel is needed. As a child care worker within the Staffing Unit, you have a great opportunity to gain a broad experience in the profession. You will have an interesting, fun, and varied job where you will work together with experienced preschool teachers, child care workers, and child care assistants.

You will be employed intermittently, which means that each individual work occasion is a new employment relationship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a child care worker, you use the curriculum as a basis by working with methods, content, and approach based on each child's knowledge, experience, and specific conditions. You strive to stimulate each child's natural curiosity and desire to learn. As a child care worker, you are active in the team's planning, implementation, documentation, evaluation, and development of the educational activities.

Together with colleagues, you work to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool. Contact and collaboration with the children's parents as well as cooperation with other staff are important for everyone to function as a team around the children. You actively contribute to the preschool's development and take responsibility for your own personal competence development. As a child care worker in Kristianstad Municipality, we place great emphasis on you working according to current goals and policy documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Child Care Worker
If you are applying as a child care worker, you have one of the following educations:
- Upper Secondary School Diploma from the Child and Recreation Program, specializing in Educational and Social Work.
- Approved from the professional package Child Care Worker within adult education or equivalent education for child care workers within folk high school, or a degree/approval from equivalent education that the employer deems sufficiently comprehensive in pedagogy and children's development and learning.
- If only parts of the educational requirements are met, previous work experience of at least three years in the field may be considered equivalent.

We want you to have the ability to stimulate children in their development. It is an advantage if you have documented experience working in a group of children in preschool or have experience in similar tasks or other work experience.

Collaboration and communication skills are qualities we are looking for, as well as empathetic ability. It is an advantage if you have a B driver's license and access to your own car to be able to travel to our preschools around the municipality.

When offered employment, an extract from the police's criminal record register is required in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
