Childcare Worker/Nursing Assistant with Epilepsy Knowledge for Herresta Preschools

The Herresta preschools consist of four preschools all located in Barkabystaden and close to bus and commuter train connections. The preschools focus on language and knowledge development with special emphasis on children's language development.

We are now looking for a childcare worker/nursing assistant with extra knowledge about epilepsy for a growth department. You will be part of a team and have access to competence development through both internal and external supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of epilepsy and functional variations
• Support children's development in areas such as motor skills, communication, and care
• Ability to lift and move children to different aids
• Experience in administering medication, e.g. for epilepsy
• Collaborate with guardians and other staff

Qualifications:

• Trained childcare worker/nursing assistant with expertise in disabilities/functional variations
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Calm, patient, and communicative individual
• Knowledge of alternative communication methods like TAKK and picture support is desirable
