About the Position

Our client is growing and is now looking to strengthen their team with a skilled support technician! As a 1st line support technician at our client in Malmö, you will work closely with 2nd line and other functions within the organization. The customer is always the focus, and you will always provide them with the best possible service. The start date is according to agreement. Apply today, as selection and interviews are ongoing.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a 1st line support technician, you will handle inquiries from customers via both calls and emails. Your daily pace varies as it is dictated by unique customer events, and everything you do should maintain high quality and service levels. You need to be reliable, proactive, and value good customer relationships. Since this is first-line support with a large number of customers with different agreements and SLA levels, it is important that you are skilled at troubleshooting diligently when required. It is also crucial to follow established escalation procedures when necessary. The administrative part is significant, and documenting cases is a natural part of your daily work. A genuine interest in IT will make your work easier every day. The work will be intense and challenging, but you will be surrounded by wonderful colleagues who are always ready to share a laugh!

The working hours are primarily daytime between 8-17, Monday to Friday. You will also work evening shifts for one week (including the weekend) approximately every other month, based on a rotation within the team.

Who You Are

We prefer that you have post-secondary education in IT, preferably vocational college. You can also apply for the position if you have acquired equivalent IT knowledge on your own or if your drive to learn new things and your work ethic are strong, as these are two crucial factors for us. Perhaps you have studied IT in high school and then worked on similar tasks, which is also highly valued. However, it is a requirement that you speak and write both English and Swedish fluently. It is a plus if you have worked and/or have knowledge of Active Directory, Windows operating systems, Linux, Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), Ticketing Systems, troubleshooting, mobile devices, printer management, and Office365.
