Västbergaskolan is a school that has a good atmosphere with an open and welcoming climate. We have 25-26 students in each class and dedicated and professional staff. We have common rules that create security and a conducive learning environment, as well as a pleasant dining hall with fantastic food cooked from scratch.

In the lower grades, we are organized in grade teams and each department houses the school and after-school care in the same corridor. In the teams, teachers, preschool teachers, after-school educators, childcare workers, and special education teachers work together to provide all students with opportunities to develop towards the educational goals. We are looking for an engaged and positive individual for a substitute position in the after-school care and as a class collaborator in grade 3. Applicants must have previous experience in after-school care and preferably some form of social or educational training.

You have many ideas about how you want to work and the ability to implement them in practice. You are a good role model for students and staff, and your values align well with those of Västbergaskolan.

As a person, you are engaged, positive, solution-oriented, and flexible. You are attentive to the needs of students and the organization, and you are a clear, positive adult. You have a good ability to collaborate and communicate with students, parents, and staff at the school. Your main task is the educational work in after-school care in the afternoons. We strive to offer students inspiring, well-planned, and varied activities with a clear purpose and goal both indoors and outdoors throughout the year. We aim for good cooperation throughout the students' entire stay at the school to promote learning in various forms.

You will collaborate with other colleagues in the team and other after-school care facilities at the school. The work includes conducting educational activities and caring for our students, planning and conducting games and other activities, preparing and serving snacks, collaborating with the class teacher and other educators at the school. You will participate in teaching during part of the school day as support for the group and individual students.
