The Rheumatology Department at Helsingborg Hospital is responsible for the investigation and treatment of moderate to severe forms of acute and chronic inflammatory joint diseases as well as rheumatic systemic diseases. The department operates in outpatient care and is very well-functioning with an established team of doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, counselor, and medical secretaries. We also have responsibilities for teaching and supervising medical students. We are facing an exciting time where we once again want to expand our operations and are looking forward to newly renovated premises.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking to strengthen our medical staff and are therefore seeking two specialist or senior consultants in rheumatology!

As a doctor with us, you will work at the department, investigate, and treat all forms of rheumatic diseases. The role also includes consultancy within Helsingborg Hospital. We participate in student teaching at the medical school and have an active involvement in medical education from the seventh semester. On-call duties are voluntary.

One of the advertised positions offers the opportunity to combine clinical work at approximately 50 percent with subject responsibility in rheumatology for the seventh semester of the medical program and research activities. There is a good opportunity to influence the design of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome applications from licensed doctors with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare and have a specialist qualification in rheumatology. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages are required.

Research merits and/or research ambitions as well as experience in teaching are advantageous.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills and flexibility in their approach. Personal suitability is of great importance.
