The Challenge at AVL: Test Cell Engineer

This position is for those attracted to broad and varied, theoretical and practical tasks. We are currently looking for test cell engineers for our facilities in Södertälje and Haninge. We work with ongoing selection, which means that we review, contact, and interview candidates in the order applications are received.

Prepare, install, and monitor test objects
Calibration, maintenance & service of test objects and test cell
Quality assurance and analysis of test data
Configure measurement systems hardware and software-wise
Systematic troubleshooting
Daily documentation and close work with customers
Cargo handling
Practical work on test objects and test equipment

Identify and report deficiencies/deviations

Good ability to work both in a team and independently
Constant willingness to expand your knowledge base
Experience in practical mechanical work on vehicles, machinery, or similar
Follows work processes and routines but can also work on problem-solving independently
Ensures quality and values improvement work
Good knowledge and understanding of powertrains
Communicates clearly in speech and writing in both Swedish and English
Enjoys working according to shift schedules (2, 3, or 4 shifts)
A driver's license B is required
Meritorious with post-secondary studies in a relevant area or documented technical education
Meritorious with experience in testing and/or development in a controlled environment
