We are a nice psychiatric reception located in the old Courthouse at the Falulasaret area, with up to 50 dedicated and friendly employees. Chief Physician, Psychiatry Reception Falun

Job Description

As a specialist doctor, you will play a key role in our reception, where you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various psychiatric conditions. You will also participate in our multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective and coordinated care for each individual. We work with general psychiatry, but we also have specific tasks related to psychosis, addiction, affective problems, and neuropsychiatry. Your duties also include assessing referrals, supervising medical colleagues, investigations, and administrative work. Our goal is to offer good accessibility and continuity for our patients.

Our working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm with the possibility of flexitime if the business allows. Through your employment with us, you have several employment benefits such as parental allowance supplement, extra days off when you turn 40, the opportunity to exchange salary for a pension, and a wellness grant of 2000 SEK per year.

Remote work from home up to 2 days a week is available to the extent that the business allows.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed physician with Swedish specialist competence in psychiatry
• Computer skills are required. We work with the journal system TakeCare, and in 2025, we will switch to Cosmic.
• Language skills in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

Meritorious

• Experience working with various psychiatric conditions

Personal qualities:

• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team with the ability to build trusting relationships with patients and other colleagues.
• Ability to work flexibly according to varying needs.
