We at First Hotel Grand in Falun are looking for a new star to join our reception team.

We are looking for someone who wants a lot of responsibility and enjoys working at night. You are the most important puzzle piece that goes through the arrival list and pays attention to details. You ensure that all guest requests are met to the extent possible and solve any problems that may arise. You send daily reports and summaries to all department heads and are responsible for purchasing kiosk items.

You always have a smile on your face and are a problemsolver. You are also the company's face outward in every guest encounter where you, among other things, check in and out the hotel's guests, handle payments, welcome guests, and provide them with the information they need about their stay.

The job is scheduled at night between 11:00 PM-07:00 AM every other week. Training is tailored to your needs and varies between night, day & evening shifts to gain a comprehensive insight into reception work.

You are, as mentioned, the company's most important puzzle piece that ensures the connection between the previous day and prepares for the next day. Therefore, you need to be a problemsolver, resourceful, attentive, and a humble team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

You are responsible for ensuring that everything is calm at the hotel and always have safety in focus when doing night rounds. You have a great responsibility on your shoulders as the work is usually scheduled as the sole responsible person at the hotel.

You need to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbally & in writing. Good computer skills are required.

Information about the position

The position is a part-time substitute every other week starting immediately. The substitute covers a leave of absence from 2025.01.15 - 2027.01.15.
