Åkerblads Gästgiveri, Hotel & Spa is a family-owned hotel located in beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. The estate has been in the Åkerblad family's possession since the 15th century, and today the 19th - 22nd generation of Åkerblads, along with a strong team of 50 employees, work together to provide guests with a memorable experience. Experiences are our keyword, it's what we convey to the guests from the moment they check in until they long to return to the sparkling waters of Lake Siljan. Our goal is to deliver a unique product, which is reflected not only in the historic premises but also in the hotel's 73 guest rooms, each personally decorated and no room is alike. Our restaurant works with locally produced ingredients and personal flavors, catering to both conference guests and weekend guests. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and is focused on continuous development where quality and service are the guiding principles.

Head Waiter, 1 position, Permanent Full-time

Your responsibilities...

As a head waiter, you are part of a team that works to serve and meet our guests' high demands.

Your main tasks include leading the operation for the shift you work. Serve food and drinks to both lunch and dinner guests. Lunches are offered buffet-style and table service. Dinners are predominantly from our constantly updated À la Carte menu.

You have a close collaboration with our other head waiters and restaurant manager.

Profile of competencies...

You have restaurant training and experience in leadership, or extensive work experience that corresponds to the former.

Your most important qualities are characterized by good teamwork, being an important part of a cohesive team. Also, being able to work quickly and prioritize with quality-compliant results according to Åkerblads' standards.

We are looking for you and offer a permanent full-time position.

The position is available now, but will be filled by agreement. For us, it is most important to find the right person and we are therefore very flexible in start dates. We conduct the interview process as applications come in, which means the position may be filled before the application deadline.
