Åkerblads Guesthouse, Hotel & Spa is a family-owned hotel located in the beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. The estate has been in the Åkerblad family's possession since the 1400s, and today the 19th to 22nd generation of Åkerblads, along with a strong team of 50 employees, work together to provide guests with a memorable experience. Experiences are our keyword, it's what we convey to the guest from check-in until they long to return to the sparkling waters of Lake Siljan. Our goal is to deliver a unique product, which is reflected not only in the historic premises but also in the hotel's 73 guest rooms, each personally decorated and no room is like the other. Our restaurant works with locally produced ingredients and personal flavors, for both conference guests and weekend guests. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and is focused on continuous development where quality and service are the keywords.

Waiter/Waitress, Full-time Position

Your responsibilities…

As a Waiter/Waitress, you are part of a team that works to serve and meet our guests' high demands.

Your main tasks include serving food and drinks for both lunch and dinner guests. Lunches are offered as buffets and plated service, while dinners are mainly based on our constantly updated À la Carte menu.

Your duties include preparations and resetting of the dining room, such as setting tables, dishwashing, polishing, etc. There is also some bar work involved and most importantly, making our fantastic guests feel welcome.

Skills and qualifications…

You have work experience in À la Carte service and good knowledge of wines.

Your most important qualities are good teamwork, being an important part of a cohesive team. Also, being able to work quickly and prioritize with quality-compliant results based on management's requirements.

We place great emphasis on personal chemistry, professional pride, and your interest in keeping up with the industry's constant development.
