Åkerblads Guesthouse, Hotel & Spa is a family-owned hotel located in beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. The estate has been in the Åkerblad family's possession since the 15th century, and today the 19th to 22nd generation of Åkerblads, along with a strong team of 50 employees, work together to provide guests with a memorable experience. Experiences are our keyword, it is what we convey to the guest from check-in until they long to return to the sparkling waters of Lake Siljan. Our goal is to deliver a unique product, which is reflected not only in the historic premises but also in the hotel's 73 guest rooms, each personally decorated and no room is alike. Our restaurant works with locally produced ingredients and personal flavors, catering to both conference guests and weekend guests. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and is focused on continuous development where quality and service are the guiding principles.

Waiter/Waitress, part-time position

Your responsibilities…

As a Waiter/Waitress, you are part of a team that works to serve and meet our guests' high demands.

Your main tasks include serving food and drinks for both lunch and dinner guests. Lunches are offered buffet-style or à la carte, and dinners are mainly dominated by our constantly updated à la carte menu.

Your duties include preparation and restoration of the dining room, such as setting tables, dishwashing, cleaning, etc. There is also some bar work involved, and most importantly, making our fantastic guests feel welcome.

Skills and qualifications…

You have work experience in à la carte service and a genuine interest in beverages.

You are good at collaborating with colleagues in both the dining room and kitchen. Of course, you enjoy providing excellent service at a fast pace and putting the guest first.

We place great emphasis on personal chemistry and professional pride.

We are looking for you and offer a part-time position, with good opportunities for permanent employment.

The position is available according to demand. The most important thing for us is to find the right employee, which is why we are flexible in start/end dates. We conduct the interview process as applications come in, so the position may be filled before the deadline.
