The primary school/special primary school is part of the Education Administration. The operations include 21 primary schools and special primary school, with a total of approximately 4500 students. Five of the primary schools are middle schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operations also include leisure-time centres.

Ekenässkolan (grades F-6 and leisure-time) is located in a multicultural district in Motala, which means that we work extensively with language development approaches in all subjects. We have several years of experience in using ICT in teaching. Our leisure-time activities regularly take place outdoors and we also work with organized break activities during the school day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in the leisure-time centre, you will also be responsible for break activities, be present during the school day, and work on security issues. In collaboration with the security team, you will get a comprehensive picture of how students function in the classroom and in the leisure-time centre.

As a new colleague in the leisure-time team, together we will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing break and leisure-time activities based on movement and joy.
Working on preventive conflict management around the children together with parents.
Working with the children to strengthen their self-esteem and social skills.
Daring to be a secure adult role model and support for the children during their school and leisure-time day to promote security and community.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a creative and committed teacher for our leisure-time centre who will help further develop our leisure-time activities and create a safe and inclusive environment for our students.

You have a good competence and understanding of children's and leisure-time centres' learning and are a certified teacher in leisure-time centres. You have experience working in leisure-time centres and work from a holistic perspective where school, break activities, and leisure-time centres are equally important. You are attentive, empathetic, and have a good ability to build relationships and work in a team. You are creative and resourceful with a strong commitment to children's well-being.
