Who are we?

Our preschool is located on Vikbolandet right at the edge of the forest, perfect for outdoor education and play. We have six departments, three for younger children and three for older children, and we work in large teams where cooperation and communication are important to support each other and create a sustainable work environment. The large team consists of 3-4 preschool teachers and preschool educators and/or childcare workers.

Skogsgläntan has its own kitchen where our chefs prepare food for us and the other three preschools in Vikbolandet. Together with the other three preschools, we will educate ourselves in SOL during the school year 2025/2026. We work with collegial learning in networks, this school year we have focused on language development approaches during the autumn, and in the spring, the focus will be on mathematics. Skogsgläntan has access to special educators in preschool area 1 as well as a speech therapist who can guide the team.

Your responsibilities

As a certified preschool teacher with us, you work to develop children's learning through clear pedagogy and documentation of their progress. You are part of the preschool teacher network at the preschool to drive the development of the preschool together with the other preschool teachers.

You collaborate closely with your colleagues to create a stimulating and creative environment where children thrive and develop. With us, you become part of a team that supports each other with a focus on common goals and positive change.

Furthermore, you participate in competence development and training to always be able to offer the best quality in children's early learning. You have regularly allocated time for both self-reflection, documentation, and planning together with your team.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher and who are well acquainted with the preschool curriculum and can implement the mission in practice. You also have experience in documenting children's learning.

You have the ability to create good and trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. You enjoy collaborating, are inspiring, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Furthermore, you can inspire, challenge, and lead children's exploration.

As a person, you are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances that arise in everyday life. You see opportunities in challenges and take responsibility for our common work environment to create a sustainable daily life.
