Responsibilities:

Truck driving, order handling, and sorting of goods and packages
Loading and unloading of vehicles
Administrative tasks such as warehouse systems, work with PCs in internal and external warehouse systems
Registration with handheld devices, deviation reporting, and damage handling

Regular contact with customers, carriers, and other districts is also part of the role. In addition to colleagues at DB Schenker, you will have close cooperation with our collaborating carriers and drivers.

In addition to regular tasks at the terminal, the role of a team leader involves operational leadership responsibilities, including:

Leading and distributing work within the terminal.
Ensuring that work methods, processes, and routines are followed within the terminal.
Ensuring correct resource allocation at the process level.
Participating in and implementing improvement measures that promote productivity, quality, work environment, and competence.
Ensuring that products and options are handled according to applicable product conditions and prioritization rules.

Your Profile:

We are looking for someone with a completed high school education and several years of experience in similar tasks within terminals or warehouses.
Your personality is characterized by a strong sense of service, precision, commitment, and the ability to work under time pressure at times.
You enjoy working in a team and are in good physical shape as the work may involve repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
You have a good numerical sense and master Swedish well in both speech and writing.
You have a forklift license and computer skills.
You have at least an AM driver's license.
A loader license, a B driver's license, experience in cargo securing, import/export knowledge, or familiarity with our systems, as well as hazardous goods training (1:3), are advantageous.
Prior leadership experience is considered a merit.
